Welcome to RecallOn ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our spaced repetition learning application at https://recallon.com.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information necessary to provide and secure our learning tracker service:

  • Account Information: When you sign in using Google OAuth, we receive your basic profile information (name, email address, and avatar image URL) from Google.
  • Application Data: We store the learning topics, notes, tags, revisions, schedule rules, and category structures you create inside the application to sync them across your devices.
  • Device & Token Information: If you opt-in to browser push notifications, we generate and store a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device token.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your collected data to:

  • Provide and maintain the core features of RecallOn (spaced repetition schedules, flashcard queues, and progress stats).
  • Send you daily email reminders (using Resend) about revisions due for the day, if you have enabled email reminders in your settings.
  • Send browser push notifications about pending revisions when enabled.
  • Identify you and manage your session securely via Google Sign-In.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase/Firestore and processed using Vercel. Daily email reminders are routed through our transactional email provider (Resend). We share data with these processors only to the extent necessary to deliver the RecallOn services.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. We do not support direct account deletion or register removal since we maintain a simple authentication entry. However, you have full control over your study data. You can instantly wipe and clear all your topics, notes, category structures, schedules, and analytics history at any time by selecting the **"Clear All Data"** option in your application Settings page.

6. Security

We prioritize the security of your data. We utilize industry-standard Google Firebase security protocols to safeguard your user account data and prevent unauthorized access. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
